Because the New Testament church is the pillar and ground of the truth, the pulpit ministry is the primary ministry of Freedom Baptist Church. We preach the Word. We preach Christ. We preach expository messages allowing the Bible to speak for itself, helping God’s people to grow in Biblical truth, and demonstrating how to interpret Scripture literally. Exhortation, not entertainment, is the thrust of FBC’s pulpit ministry.

The Sunday school is the church organized. It is a vital teaching arm of our church. We offer classes for all ages. We teach God’s Word systematically.

Our Sunday night children’s ministry is for ages 5-13. The acronym B.L.A.S.T. stands for Bible Learning and Spiritual Training. Our children learn traditional / sacred music, memorize Scripture, learn Bible trivia, have a game time, and most importantly have a lesson from God’s Word.

God has enabled us to triple our missions budget since the summer of 2023! Because of this we are able to support missionaries on six continents and in over fifteen countries. As we strive to go into all the world and preach the Gospel, our next objective is to have at least one missionary in all twenty-four time zones so that the sun never sets on our Gospel outreach. Our other objective is that every member will financially and prayerfully participate in the missions ministry of FBC.

During designated times of the week, our members go two-by-two and house-to-house in our community telling our neighbors the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We further believe that we are to be witnesses for Christ every day, everywhere, to everyone.

We not only desire to see people saved and baptized, we also desire to teach them to observe all things Christ commanded. This too is part of Christ’s Great Commission to the church. In this vital ministry, believers are instructed in many foundational areas of the Christian life whereby they may grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

This is a newer ministry at FBC and one that our members are excited about! Each of the last two years our church has set aside a couple days to assemble foreign language Scripture portions to be sent to missionaries around the world for distribution to the lost. In this short period of time God has enabled our church to assemble over 40,000 Scripture portions! We are seeking every opportunity to quickly grow this ministry and conduct it every month of the year. It is a ministry for every member. Participation at every age is encouraged. We are pleased to partner with Beacon of Truth Baptist Ministries.

Every summer Freedom Baptist Church hosts a week of VBS for our children and also as an evangelistic outreach to the lost children of our communities. Our objective is not only to reach the children but their entire family with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This Sunday morning ministry is for ages 4-7. God’s Word is faithfully taught by loving, caring teachers.

Our church provides a nursery ministry to ages 0-3. This important ministry allows parents the opportunity to enjoy the worship service while their children are cared for by compassionate servants of Christ.

Every member of FBC is encouraged to participate in this ministry in the morning when they wake up and in the evening before retiring to bed. We believe in the power of prayer and rely on God’s power, wisdom, protection, and direction for all our ministry endeavors.

Our Christian day school was founded in 2014 as a ministry of FBC and to our knowledge is the only distinctively Baptist Christian school in Delaware County, PA. We make no apologies for our doctrinal stand. Bible is not just a class period. It is the overriding textbook throughout the day and is integrated into every area of the curriculum.
